Smart Growth Interagency Committee

The Smart Growth Interagency Committee is comprised of representatives from the fifteen state agencies. The Committee was created to provide planning expertise, tools, training and assistance to help local, county, and Tribal communities with the various aspects of smart growth and self-assessments related to the Arizona Smart Growth Scorecard.  The Committee will continuously collaborate with cities, towns, counties, regional entities, and Tribal communities regarding smart growth concepts and development processes.

The Committee is also charged with ensuring that all agencies are preparing to use the Smart Growth Scorecard in their discretionary funds grant application processes and offering technical assistance to agencies as they implement the Scorecard.
