The State Energy Program (SEP) is an existing program that will be expanded with $55.4 million in ARRA funding. This 30-year program has successfully implemented real programs and policies that have increased energy efficiency and the use of renewable resources.
The comprehensive application for SEP American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds was submitted to DOE on May 12, 2009. As a result, on June 24, 2009, Arizona was among ten states to be awarded 50% ($22.2 million) of their Recovery Act funds for the State Energy Program.
Below is a list of approved programs. The Arizona Department of Commerce Energy Office is in the process of establishing program guidelines. Project applications will not be accepted until guidelines are approved. As each program guideline is determined, information as to who to contact and how to apply will be posted.
