Arizona Aerospace And Defense Commission
The Aerospace and Defense Commission is Arizona's sole coordinator of all aerospace and defense related commercial partnerships. The Commission was established pursuant to A.R.S. §§41-1561, 41-1562, 41-1563 & 41-1564.
The Aerospace and Defense Commission is tasked providing technical support, developing goals and objectives, recommending legislation and providing direction regarding Arizona's aerospace and defense related commerce. Additionally, the Commission must annually submit a strategic plan to the Governor, the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Secretary of State and the Director of the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records.

Occasionally, the Arizona Aerospace and Defense Commission (AADC) is asked to provide a non-financial letter of support for current or proposed activities or programs. The AADC is not a funding agency, but can offer its support of entities/agencies pursuing resources or increased attention of its activities/program(s), if the activity/program clearly aligns with the AADC Strategic Plan.
