The Arizona Department of Commerce’s mission is to provide statewide leadership to foster a business climate which helps companies create and retain quality jobs, and strengthen Arizona’s economic base.

The following divisions offer direct assistance to Arizona entrepreneurs and growing companies:

The Small Business Services online program is a statewide resource center for every stage of your small business development: business structure, business name registration, state and city licensing, loans, employee hiring, procurement opportunities, or Small, Minority and Women Business Certification.

The Office of International Trade and Investment offers export assistance, maintains the latest information on international business opportunities and offers demographic breakouts, statistical records on trade, and access to the latest research on international market strategies.
